Biography

Dominic is a graduate of the University of Birmingham where he studied Msc Public and Environmental Health Sciences. 

Prior to gaining the prestigious Tullow Group Scholarship to study, he worked extensively on the Abidjan-Lagos Corridor Organisation project, as a volunteer, peer educator, facilitator, project officer and medical staff. The project seeks to facilitate the removal of barriers to an HIV-free Corridor by promoting the free movement of people and goods, Prevention of HIV and other STis and treatment of People living with HIV/AIDS. 

He has developed the passion to work in the Third Sector over the years because He believe this is where his impact will be well felt. After returning from the United Kingdom, Dominic started The Bassah Initiative to raise the next generation of leaders from the remotest parts of Ghana to confront the challenges of tomorrow by supporting them to embrace education, the mother of all solutions.

Dominic specialises in nutrition, environmental health, food safety and public health integration with keen interest in developing in community development and global health.
