Frederick is a Biochemist by training and has a keen interest in biomedical research and lecturing. He was part of the 2012 cohort of the prestigious Tullow Group Scholarship Scheme (TGSS) which enabled him to pursue an MSc in Biotechnology at the University of Teesside and graduated with a distinction. 

While at Teesside, he was the Postgraduate Student Liaison Officer for the School of Science and Engineering (SSE) Board and also doubled as a committee member for the Teesside Entrepreneurs Management Board. 

Prior to that, he had a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Ghana where he was President of the Ghana Biochemistry Students Association (GHABSA) in his final year and a Teaching Assistant after. 

Having such an excellent academic background, he is determined to pursue further research degrees with which he hopes to become one of Africa's finest Molecular Biologists. 

Being multi talented, Frederick is a Youth Coach, Motivational Speaker, and professional MC. 

He is amongst the founding leaders of Christ Education Centre (CEC), a human development group in Accra and also serves as the General Secretary currently. He's been involved with youth empowerment for over a decade as he is passionate about them acquiring skills to sharpen and maximise their potentials in life. He's spoken on different platforms and has inspired many people from diverse backgrounds to achieve their potentials. 

Currently, he is pioneering a novel research into the use of micro RNAs as diagnostic biomarkers of resistance in neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) together with his mentor, Prof M. D. Wilson at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR), Legon.  
Frederick remarks, "This scholarship has offered me greater opportunities in life and has connected me to other skilled Scholars who are making significant impacts in various fields, I wish it continues...”
