Stephen is a motivated monitoring and evaluation (M&E) professional with over 10 years’ experience in designing and implementing M&E systems and project management across Kenya, East Africa and the United States. He is a trained Computer Scientist and hold a Masters in Geographical Information Systems (Tullow Group Scholarship awardee of 2013). 

He has a proven track record providing strategic and technical assistance though Monitoring and Evaluation in the following areas: HIV prevention, care and treatment, maternal, neonatal and child health (MNCH), reproductive health/family planning (RH/FP), orphan and vulnerable children(OVC) programming, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) and nutrition health services, as well conducting clinical trials and epidemiological studies for multi-sectoral donors including but not limited to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Department for International Development (DFID), Centre for Disease Control (CDC), the National Institute for Health (NIH) as well as various public and private funders. 

He also has proven managerial experience, as well as excellent leadership, decision making and organisational skills, all of which have seen him successfully develop, manage and implement robust databases to track the flow of information for complex and cross-cutting projects across East Africa. 

He is a committed, results oriented and driven professional with unquestionable integrity, who works well under pressure to deliver on strict deadlines. He thrives in fast faced working environments with ambitious targets; able to work well with people from a broad range of different socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Lastly, his people-centered approach to supervision, has fostered an environment that facilitates both personal and professional growth for everyone he works with and supervises.
